Sally

Sally’s English School代表のSallyです＾＾2014年冬から5人のプライベートの生徒さんからスタートしおかげさまで4月で11年目に入ろうとしております。あっという間の11年間でしたが本当に多くの生徒さんや講師に出逢い楽しいかけがえのない時間でした。英語への情熱、もっと日本に英語を！という日本に英語を広めるための情熱、こどもたちの未来をもっと輝かせるために英語を！！という情熱だけは誰にも負けないと思っております。

英語・教育・こども・人が大好きな私にとって、英会話講師・運営はまさに天職でこの仕事に出会えたことに日々感謝している毎日です。現在の生徒さん、これから出逢う生徒さんたちに、サリーズにきてよかった！英語ができてよかった！と思って頂けるよう、精一杯応援させて頂きたいと思います。よろしくお願いいたします！  

Ikumi

Hello! My name is Ikumi! I teach International classes at Tomigaoka school several times a week. I always try to create a warm class environment where students feel welcomed and comfortable speaking in English without worrying about making mistakes. I enjoy working with every one of my students and I am very proud of their hard work.
I am also a full time elementary school teacher at an international school in Nara and I really enjoy working with students from different parts of the world.
I spend my free time reading, exercising, gardening and cuddling with my three rescue dogs.
You are more than welcome to visit my classes and I would be very happy to meet you and answer any questions you may have regarding my classes. God bless you!

Hello everyone! My name is Bruna. I’m from Brazil but I have been in Japan for a long time!! My favorite color is yellow and I love to try new foods from around the world! In the future, I would like to go and visit New Zealand! How about you? Which country would like to visit? I’m so excited to be your teacher!! Let’s have lots of fun while learning English.

Hi everyone!　My name is Hillary.I grew up in America – near Disneyland! – and now I have been living and teaching in Japan most of my life.
I like chocolate, and my favorite animals are frogs, cats and tigers. I like singing and reading. I’m happy learning and trying new things.
I love children. I’m a mom of 4 kids all born in Japan, and I have 2 grandkids in America.
I’m excited to get to know you and have fun together in English!

Hi, My name is Robert and I love English and games! I can play the guitar and sometimes you can catch me singing too. I have a 4-year-old bilingual daughter called Hana. I look forward to meeting you all!

Hello everyone! My name is William but you can call me Bill! I come from the United States of America where I grew up in Western New York near Niagara Falls! I’ve never been to New York City though!

I have many things I like to do and express myself through. I am an actor, singer, and artist. Some other passions of mine are kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and weightlifting. I also like to play video games!

Yu

Hello! My name is Yu! I teach the Advanced Classes at the Tomigaoka, Ikoma and Oji schools several times a week. I strive to set an environment in which students can learn English naturally and comfortably through fun and engaging methods! I currently also work full time as a high school teacher at an international school in Nara! I have a masters degree from an American University, and my hobbies include guitar, traveling, and collecting insects from all over the world! I would love to have anyone interested in my classes to come visit and take a look!

Judy

Hi everyone! My name is Judy, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m currently living and teaching English in Japan.

I’ve always loved Japanese culture, especially anime and manga — they inspired me to come here! My favorite anime is Demon Slayer, and my favorite song is “Lemon” by Kenshi Yonezu.

I enjoy making videos, listening to music, and spending quiet time writing or reflecting.

I’m excited to learn and have fun together with everyone!

Hello everyone! My Name is Yuko. I am so excited to be your teacher this year at Sally’s English School.
I am originally from Tokyo and lived in English-speaking countries such as the USA, UK and Singapore for 20 years until 2020.
I am mother of a senior high school daughter, born and raised in London. I like traveling, visiting historical landmarks and museums, and classical ballet. The more we learn a language, the more we will meet new favorites and people we like. Let’s have fun while learning English together then tell us what makes your day. See you in the school!

Hey everyone! My name is Charli and i’m from Australia. I love reading books, watching movies and playing card games. I can’t wait to meet you all and have fun together learning English!!

Hey hi hello! My name is Sarah and I’m from the Hudson Valley region of the United States. I’m a voracious reader with a particular love of fantasy! In my free time I enjoy composing shanties on my lyre harp. My favorite animal is the mole. English is a master key which can open countless doors into the future. Which door will you choose to unlock? Let’s find out together!

Kiki

My name is Kiki. I grew up in Nara, Japan, but my family is Australian, so I use English to get by.
My favorite things are cooking, eating, artwork, and music. I play the clarinet.
I first connected to the English world through the clarinet. No matter what you do, it will be easier if you can use English. There are many possibilities for everyone! Let’s enjoy English together!

Hello, I’m Connor. I’m from Canada. I love to read books, especially sci-fi, and I love to write. I like latin dancing (salsa, bachata). My favorite food is cheeseburger.

Hello everyone. I am Champ from the Philippines. I really love outdoor activities, play some sports and go walking. I also love watching anime. Let us learn, grow, and have fun together.

Yasu

Hello! My name is Yasu.

I like grinding beans for my morning coffee, which smells wonderful and wakes me up. My favorite drinks are latte and matcha. I’m definitely a cat person, although I don’t have one at the moment. I love learning and teaching languages. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me!

Aleyssa

Hi everyone! My name is Aleyssa and I’m from the Philippines! I spent my childhood in the Philippines and moved to Japan as a teenager, so I’ve grown up with different cultures. I studied in both Osaka and the United Kingdom, and I love learning and sharing new things from around the world.

I enjoy all kinds of adventures like exploring new places, getting lost in museums, watching fun movies, dancing at concerts, and screaming (just a little!) on roller coasters. And when it’s time to eat, nothing beats barbecue—it’s delicious and even better when shared with friends!

I love speaking English because it helps me connect with people from all over the world. I’m excited to help you do the same! Let’s have fun learning together through games, stories, and lots of smiles. I can’t wait to meet you and see what adventures we’ll have in class!
